‘Greetings to you all in the precious name of Christ Jesus.

‘It is now nearly 30 years since I last preached in an Elim church, which was at Lowestoft, in England. I was a student at the Elim Bible College, then in Nantwich, Cheshire.
​

‘It was at Lowestoft, an old-fashioned Elim church at that time, an old lady on the organ, no loud rocking ‘praise & worship’ band in those days; a simple pulpit, a blue velvet cover & gold letters, ‘Jesus Saves.’

‘I was with a team of students from the Elim College, & I had been chosen simply to be the convener of the meeting. I got together with 2 lady intercessors before the start of the meeting, bringing the conditions for the Spirit to move.
​
‘In the meeting was an old, old Elim pastor, who had known the Jeffreys glory years. At the start of the meeting, I simply announced, ‘I am here to proclaim Jesus Christ as the Saviour, Healer, Baptizer in the Holy Ghost, & Soon Coming King.’ Immediately, a known cripple walked out of her wheelchair in excitement, walking up & down freely, without assistance. I had moved in the mantle of Elim’s founder.

‘What was interesting was, not one student or faculty member of the College mentioned this on the journey home. Like so many, they had been blinded by higher critical teaching; so blinded by philosophical processes, so even if a miracle was before their eyes, they failed to see it.
​
‘A very different gospel was being taught by the Elim College at that time; a gospel that lacked the true Word of God; a gospel that embraced the scriptures of Egypt, of bondage rather than freedom. The Toronto Blessing had come, & devils were manifesting all over the College; & no-one was doing anything about it.
This so-called ‘blessing,’ so much a part of the growth of what is known as the Emerging Church, has since been followed by the heresies of Pasadena, California, where we have gone to intercede against the philosophies of the purpose-driven & business approaches of the present day.
​
‘I love the Elim movement. I love the movement with all of my heart; but not the way it had gone, draining the faith of enthusiastic students, to polished ministers of doom rather than having fellowships free-flowing in the true Word of God, led continuously by the Spirit of God.
​
‘It is time to return to the landmark of the founder, the Foursquare Gospel. This has been my passion for all those years since leaving the Elim College, God telling me to refuse their degree, offered that time through Manchester University.
‘A lady called Sheila, whose uncle Charlie had been one of the founders of the Assemblies of God, brought me a copy of the first edition of the Assemblies of God’s Redemption Tidings, July 1924. I enclose a copy of the full magazine, as well as our own Voice of Prophecy. It warns of the higher criticism of Germany, & what was coming through Manchester University, from where Elim had offered me their degree.
‘Since refusing that degree, my family have been refused entry to Elim pulpits. Decades have now passed since I preached in an Elim church, & now I am 65 years old, with a word from God to say we can restore the landmark in Belfast, knowing the people are ready for true revival.

‘Even though we were living in Scotland, we had our personal & ministry resources stolen for the paramilitary struggle in Ireland. Your parliamentary prophet from Belfast warned of this in the House of Commons. It is in the Voice of Prophecy Newspaper, which I enclose; & if you read the on-line edition, you can simply click on the intercessions, & the time your parliamentary prophet was expelled from the House of Commons.

‘Since that day, political correctness has been destroying our country, of a socialist god allowed access to the running of the country through the process of utilitarianism that has prevented the people of Northern Ireland from receiving their justice.

‘You see, we suffered loss of resource in the troubles. More importantly, your people suffered loss of loved ones.
​
‘You see, our nation has a Christian Constitution, & it is for all of the people, & it invites those of the sectarian divide unto a Saviour who died for them too. And as we forgive, & as we love, we can see God move in the whole of Ireland.
​
‘With my ministry colleague, Brian Mason, (trained at the Bible College of Wales under Samuel Rees Howells), intercession has taken place for reconciliation; but not through the gods of philosophy, but through the power of the risen God.
​
‘It is to the landmark of Jeffreys I turn in Belfast. As at Lowestoft, I know there is a powerful anointing when you proclaim in an Elim church the Foursquare Gospel. I know I will do this again.
​
‘Through many years of suffering & rejection, we have been through the refiner’s fire & fuller’s soap of Malachi; & I long to preach the Foursquare Gospel again in an Elim church. I can simply express my heart.

‘I met recently with Pastor Tom McCann of Crumlin Road Elim. It was clear he knew of the Nantwich years; & I offer myself to work with you all, to restore the Foursquare Gospel landmark, the old paths of the Elim movement that began in Belfast, back to the Elim movement. It began in Belfast, & so shall it be restored in Belfast.
‘I watch Whitewell on YouTube & the old hymns being sung; Tell me the Old, Old Story, with a beautiful choir & the right balance of instruments to be honouring to God.

‘My wife Lindsay & I offer ourselves to you. Now, remember my Lowestoft story. Before the meeting, I got together with intercessors; & over recent years I have worked with a very special one, travelling all over the world with him, & we both know how special Ireland is. We both know from Irish shores shall the revival come; & this we now share with the Elim brothers & sisters in Belfast: the landmark, the old paths, have to be restored, in the name of Jesus.’

“I have kept quoting the Deuteronomy & Revelation passage over taking out words & putting in words, to the Word of God.

“18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

“What Rome has done has taken out every word & put in every word, from Codices that were never the Bible in the first place. So it is not 1 word, or 2 words, or 3 words they have taken out; but they have taken out every word, & put in every word, into the hands of people who used to have real Bibles.

“So now in the Churches you have bloodless, non-convicting Bibles, & a social gospel that dare not offend. Sinners are no longer uncomfortable as preachers & teachers use the codices of Rome.

“That kingdom, however, is falling apart. Thou must take over, with the pure Word of God. Be prepared, as the kingdom of darkness is crumbling before thy eyes. The sin of Rome, & its Egyptian obelisk, is beyond redemption. It is the citadel of Satan, the throne of Lucifer, & all of his angels on earth; & yes, the Deuteronomy & Revelation passages are extremely relevant. For the taking out & putting in of words relates to the whole of the false Bibles of Rome that were once of Alexandria, Egypt.

“I have called thee to restore Elim in Belfast, for example, as they ponder over the literature you have given them. That movement is to be restored to the vision of its founder, a man of the Authorized Version of the Bible. As a result of restoring the true Word of God to that movement, thou art to restore great healing crusades, singing once more the Elim choruses & the hymns of the Redemption Hymnal. Thou hast plunged thy sword right into the heart of the Elim system of rebellion; rebellion to the vision of a founder who stood on the true Word of God, proclaiming the Foursquare Gospel:

“As Paul wrote to the elders of the churches, I wrote to you some time ago, in relation to the Elim ministry in Belfast.
“My heart is pouring out to you at this time, for I know you have a choice to make, whether it be the modern teaching, like I witnessed at the Elim Bible College when it was in Nantwich; a college that had had a name change, from the one I had originally given it. The name change was a taking away of its original vision, an original vision that had become, in effect, an ancient landmark which the father of thy movement set up.
​
“I am prepared, saith the Lord, to restore thy movement to the vision of thy founder; & I have set up a Bible College on the doorstep of Belfast, so to do. But will you allow this college to come in? This college is on your doorstep; & I, saith the Lord, am standing on your door & knocking.

I am asking David to put in just the first page of the now infamous document of higher criticism by David Petts; a document that denies the fulfilment passage of Matthew 8, a fulfilment passage that gave David Griffiths himself a miracle, when I had him speak it out when he was awaiting a hospital procedure, when his head had completely opened up after a demonic attack.

The text shared by these two editions was adopted internationally by Bible Societies, and following an agreement between the Vatican and the United Bible Societies it has served as the basis for new translations and for revisions made under their supervision. This marks a significant step with regard to inter confessional relationships. It should naturally be understood that this text is a working text (in the sense of the century-long Nestle tradition): it is not to be considered as definitive, but as a stimulus to further efforts toward defining and verifying the text of the New Testament .........

“As Martin Luther saw the corruption of the Roman Catholic Church yesterday, thou hast seen the Corruption of today, in the form of Rome’s Charismatic movement”
“Rome controls the Charismatic movement of today. Thou hast proven it, proven it in the greatest detail. Thou hast given this detail to the once-great Elim movement in Belfast & thou hast issued them with an edict, to come back to the book of its founder, the Authorised Version of the Bible.
​
“Thou hast told them they are under the control of Rome, as virtually all of the Charismatic movement is. But where have you found the true Word of God? Nowhere. So the Antioch Christian Resource Bureau has been founded as a storehouse for faithful Christians to give into, without fear of corruption, for thou hast laid your whole lives down for Me.
​
“Thou can sing, ‘Take my silver & my gold; not a drop will I withhold’; but thou hast to contend with the seed-faith offerings of the Charismatic movement, that offer material gain to those that give. But they do not teach that the Word is the seed; but they do not teach that wealth is to be given to those upholding the storehouse of the true Word of God.

“But what Word do they uphold? The word of Lucifer himself, the Lucifer of codices Vaticanus, Sinaiticus & Alexandrinus, the codices of the obelisk of Rome. Indeed, your attendance at Elim Bible College, with the Egyptian god Thoth weighing the souls of the dead on its Library wall, is the College that did nothing about the sacrifice of chickens in its grounds; that did nothing about the sacrifice of babies in its grounds; that did nothing about the manifestation of devils during its Toronto Blessing; that did nothing about the philosophical teaching of higher criticism rather than the Word of God; that did nothing about its own rebellion to the vison of its founder, George Jeffreys; that did nothing about its own ignorance of the Foursquare Gospel; that did nothing about its own adherence to the false Greek of Nestle-Aland. For instead of holding on tightly to the vision of its founder, the movement became victim to Rome’s Charismatic movement of Vaticanus, Sinaiticus & Alexandrinus, the codices of Rome, with their origins in Egypt.

“Elim owes thee compensation; for when you joined its College, it was Elim Bible College; & you have a right to expect that the Bible would be the Bible of its founder. You found the College in rebellion against the vision of its founder, questioning the fulfilment passage of Matthew 8, rather than embracing it, as its founder had done all those years before.

“For thou attended Elim Egyptology College; & you have the right to claim all the resources of Elim to thy storehouse. For not only art thou restoring the College of Rees Howells. Thou art restoring the College of George Jeffreys, a vision of thy movement from its very outset.
​
“Thou hast proven to be faithful to this call, & have put every penny on the line for it. Thou art My remnant, knocking on Elim’s door in Belfast, to restore that movement; & restore that movement thou shalt do, if only they shalt open that door, not to you, but to Me in you; & the Foursquare Gospel shall be restored to that movement, & the vagrancies of the Charismatic movement removed.

“Oh, I shall give you word for other movements, as time goes by, should I tarry. Thou shalt be knocking on the door of Pen-y-groes & Mattersey.

“I am knocking at their doors, & that shall continue through thee, at the given time.

“The intercessions of Mattersey & Pen-y-groes shall bear their fruit; but at the present time, I have you knocking at the door of Elim, Belfast.

For I the Lord have designed thee for such a time as this; as my Esther was designed – to devote thyself to the salvation of thy people from the wrath to come, from the burning & the choking, as it says in the Hymn of St Patrick’s Breastplate.

“The response has been massive, & thou shalt rejoice. For all manner of rejection has come your way.
​
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

“What has happened here is that idols, security zones, years of thought rather than Biblical study, has come to the surface. For I am demanding the Biblical, Early Church form of Christianity, rather than that which is prevalent today.

“Of course they will reject & threaten; that was life for the Early Church, & whilst thy threateners shall look to jail thee & do all kinds of evil against thee, thou shalt simply say, ‘Come to the living Saviour, who died on the Cross for thee’, & take up thy cross for Me. They have got used to the establishment, with its false doctrines that thou hast outlined in these newspapers; & thou hast mentioned that the unpardonable sin has taken place, that has resulted in a false form of Christianity, based on the new ‘translations’ of Lucifer.

“On reading this, the emotion zone of those under these ‘translations’ goes berserk. For thou hast removed a security zone; a security zone of false Christianity that lacks repentance & the preaching of the blood of Christ.
“When they question you, & you correct them Biblically –

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

“for thou hast researched My Word over decades now, & My Spirit uses that research. But they can only answer in shallow terms; but thou hast My sword to bring such a one to repentance; & whilst there is no hope for the Nestle-Aland Committee taking out My Word from the people,

The Old Cross and the New

​
ALL UNANNOUNCED AND MOSTLY UNDETECTED there has come in modern times a new cross into popular evangelical circles. It is like the old cross, but different: the likenesses are superficial; the differences, fundamental.
From this new cross has sprung a new philosophy of the Christian life, and from that new philosophy has come a new evangelical technique-a new type of meeting and a new kind of preaching. This new evangelism employs the same language as the old, but its content is not the same and its emphasis not as before.
​
The old cross would have no truck with the world. For Adam's proud flesh it meant the end of the journey. It carried into effect the sentence imposed by the law of Sinai. The new cross is not opposed to the human race; rather, it is a friendly pal and, if understood aright, it is the source of oceans of good clean fun and innocent enjoyment. It lets Adam live without interference. His life motivation is unchanged; he still lives for his own pleasure, only now he takes delight in singing choruses and watching religious movies instead of singing bawdy songs and drinking hard liquor. The accent is still on enjoyment, though the fun is now on a higher plane morally if not intellectually.
​
The new cross encourages a new and entirely different evangelistic approach. The evangelist does not demand abnegation of the old life before a new life can be received. He preaches not contrasts but similarities. He seeks to key into public interest by showing that Christianity makes no unpleasant demands; rather, it offers the same thing the world does, only on a higher level. Whatever the sin-mad world happens to be clamoring after at the moment is cleverly shown to be the very thing the gospel offers, only the religious product is better.
​
The new cross does not slay the sinner, it redirects him. It gears him into a cleaner and jollier way of living and saves his self-respect. To the self-assertive it says, "Come and assert yourself for Christ." To the egotist it says, "Come and do your boasting in the Lord." To the thrill seeker it says, "Come and enjoy the thrill of Christian fellowship." The Christian message is slanted in the direction of the current vogue in order to make it acceptable to the public.
​
The philosophy back of this kind of thing may be sincere but its sincerity does not save it from being false. It is false because it is blind. It misses completely the whole meaning of the cross.
​
The old cross is a symbol of death. It stands for the abrupt, violent end of a human being. The man in Roman times who took up his cross and started down the road had already said good-by to his friends. He was not coming back. He was going out to have it ended. The cross made no compromise, modified nothing, spared nothing; it slew all of the man, completely and for good. It did not try to keep on good terms with its victim. It struck cruel and hard, and when it had finished its work, the man was no more.
​
The race of Adam is under death sentence. There is no commutation and no escape. God cannot approve any of the fruits of sin, however innocent they may appear or beautiful to the eyes of men. God salvages the individual by liquidating him and then raising him again to newness of life.
​
That evangelism which draws friendly parallels between the ways of God and the ways of men is false to the Bible and cruel to the souls of its hearers. The faith of Christ does not parallel the world, it intersects it. In coming to Christ we do not bring our old life up onto a higher plane; we leave it at the cross. The corn of wheat must fall into the ground and die.
​
We who preach the gospel must not think of ourselves as public relations agents sent to establish good will between Christ and the world. We must not imagine ourselves commissioned to make Christ acceptable to big business, the press, the world of sports or modern education. We are not diplomats but prophets, and our message is not a compromise but an ultimatum.
​
God offers life, but not an improved old life. The life He offers is life out of death. It stands always on the far side of the cross. Whoever would possess it must pass under the rod. He must repudiate himself and concur in God's just sentence against him.
​
What does this mean to the individual, the condemned man who would find life in Christ Jesus? How can this theology be translated into life? Simply, he must repent and believe. He must forsake his sins and then go on to forsake himself. Let him cover nothing, defend nothing, excuse nothing. Let him not seek to make terms with God, but let him bow his head before the stroke of God's stern displeasure and acknowledge himself worthy to die.
​
Having done this let him gaze with simple trust upon the risen Saviour, and from Him will come life and rebirth and cleansing and power. The cross that ended the earthly life of Jesus now puts an end to the sinner; and the power that raised Christ from the dead now raises him to a new life along with Christ.
​
To any who may object to this or count it merely a narrow and private view of truth, let me say God has set His hallmark of approval upon this message from Paul's day to the present. Whether stated in these exact words or not, this has been the content of all preaching that has brought life and power to the world through the centuries. The mystics, the reformers, the revivalists have put their emphasis here, and signs and wonders and mighty operations of the Holy Ghost gave witness to God's approval.

Dare we, the heirs of such a legacy of power, tamper with the truth? Dare we with our stubby pencils erase the lines of the blueprint or alter the pattern shown us in the Mount? May God forbid. Let us preach the old cross and we will know the old power.

“I personally witnessed the denial of the fulfilment passage of Matthew 8 in thy College at Nantwich, & have primary evidence of this.

“The Spirit of God has moved powerfully in Belfast, with the Elim ministers that have received the prophetic communications from thee.

“The Spirit of God has moved powerfully upon those who have received these communications. For I have come that there may be life in Belfast, & nit the vagrancies of Higher Criticism, which thou hast exposed.

“From Belfast came this great Elim movement, which now has to return to the Foursquare Gospel; & most importantly, return to the Book of its founder, George Jeffreys.

“Throughout the whole of the UK, the Elim movement has been found out by the falling away of its pastors, by the teaching of its College, a College so infiltrated by Egyptology, by Gnosticism, & rebellion to the vision of its founder.

“Thou hast exposed such an act of witchcraft that even witchcraft orders felt free to carry out the devilish rituals in the College grounds at Nantwich.

“A return to the Antioch line of scripture is the only solution. Do not give heed to the lack of response from Belfast, but instead rejoice, for the Elim movement is to be returned to the vision of its founder, & that which has infiltrated in is to be exposed, & thou hast kept the necessary proof of this, & gone to the landmark city of the movement with that proof, so that God can move on it.
