Blockage 1 in Wales : Backbiting & The Jezebel!

Writes David P Griffiths: Since moving back to Wales having lived in Cheshire and Scotland, one thing that is very noticeable and major stronghold is the fact that those who hear from God and act accordingly come under major persecution in Wales where tradition has to rule and rule strong.

Jezebel groups abound in the principality and for those intent on restoring the 1900's Welsh Revival are in for a torrid time. Proverbs 25 sums it all up.......

Proverbs 25:8-28 King James Version (KJV)

8 Go not forth hastily to strive, lest thou know not what to do in the end thereof, when thy neighbour hath put thee to shame.

My wife Lindsay and I have battled with great adversity in Wales not from the community at large, not in the political arena where we are active but in what is known as "Church" which right across the board is a mixture of paganism, legalism and staying away from original visions.

Not paying the price is common, and for those who place this "Church" under conviction a torrid time is likely, backbiting leading to legalism in an over[regulated society intent on pulling down visionaries.

9 Debate thy cause with thy neighbour himself; and discover not a secret to another:

10 Lest he that heareth it put thee to shame, and thine infamy turn not away.

11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

12 As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.

13 As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters.

14 Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.

In the 1500's Wales was brought into the Union as a failing nation, and it has to be said - a nation failing today in that instead of embracing high level of education, high levels of productivity we witness many idle hands on benefits not putting into the Nation - but taking out - with those working hard pulled down by the work shy crowd who spectate rather than participate!

It is my view that Paul might well have been writing to the Church in Wales rather than Corinth for this part of scripture sums up the situation perfectly!

19 Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.

20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:

21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.

Despite of this profound teaching, some failed to take in the warning falling to the subtle "loving kindness" of Jezebels operating in North Wales.

We appeal to you - to not become a victim like so many!

After this exposure of Jezebel, some attending the conference were so strirred up as Jezebel was exposed, that plotting took place to take out our ministry here.

Tremendous persecution followed along with great miracles and a great vision of God restored to Wales.

1 Kings 22 King James Version (KJV)

And they continued three years without war between Syria and Israel.

And it came to pass in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel.

And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?

And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.

And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.

Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear?

And they said, Go up; for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil.

And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, Hasten hither Micaiah the son of Imlah.

And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne, having put on their robes, in a void place in the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them.

And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the king's hand.

And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.

And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.

So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD?

And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?

And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.

And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.

And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.

But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?

And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and enter into the battle; but put thou on thy robes.

And the king of Israel disguised himself, and went into the battle.

But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel.

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out.

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned back from pursuing him.

And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.

And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.

And there went a proclamation throughout the host about the going down of the sun, saying, Every man to his city, and every man to his own country.

So the king died, and was brought to Samaria; and they buried the king in Samaria.

And one washed the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood; and they washed his armour; according unto the word of the LORD which he spake.

Now the rest of the acts of Ahab, and all that he did, and the ivory house which he made, and all the cities that he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.

And Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel.

Jehoshaphat was thirty and five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.

And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he turned not aside from it, doing that which was right in the eyes of the LORD: nevertheless the high places were not taken away; for the people offered and burnt incense yet in the high places.

And Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel.

Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he shewed, and how he warred, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land.

There was then no king in Edom: a deputy was king.

Jehoshaphat made ships of Tharshish to go to Ophir for gold: but they went not; for the ships were broken at Eziongeber.

Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab unto Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with thy servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not.

And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and

Jehoram his son reigned in his stead.

Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned two years over Israel.

And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in the way of his mother, and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin:

For he served Baal, and worshipped him, and provoked to anger the LORD God of Israel, according to all that his father had done.

Study of the 4 groups of people found in this Scripture:

Introduction:

* The devil is an old fool – he always fights the old way, i.e. does not change his tactics

* Therefore we need to fight the devil the way God’s people fought him in the past

* The spirit of Jezebel is very convincing – persuasive

* Therefore the devil uses women a lot, because women are very convincing – persuasive

* The spirit of Jezebel has convinced lots of people that you have to be up-to-date in spiritual warfare. Therefore people spend lots of time training in new strategies & new revelations in spiritual warfare. All of this is ‘tomfoolery!’

* We must look at the Bible to see how the devil really fights.

A Study of the 4 different personages (groups of people) found in I Kings 22.

* Which group are you in?

* Many people are in the wrong place

The story is about the following groups:

1) King Jehoshaphat of Judah

2) King Ahab of Israel

3) The 400 false prophets (on Ahab’s side)

4) The (true) prophet Micaiah.

We need to be like (4) above. Of these 4 groups, 2 are obviously evil: (2) & (3) above. The most subtle character of these 4 is (1).

(1) Jehoshaphat:

In I Kings 22, verse 4 – Jehoshaphat & Ahab were friends.

Verse 41 – J. was the son of a good king, Asa. Of the 20 kings of Judah who reigned after the kingdom was split into 2 (see King Rehoboam), there were 6 good kings, including Asa.

Verse 43 – note the word ‘nevertheless,’ which really means ‘but.’

So, Jehoshaphat was a good king & the son of a good king; God-fearing & OK with the Lord. But there were 2 problems with him, which are also found in churches today, e.g. in Pentecostal denominations:

1) He did not remove the high places; the people were worshipping idols there. The king in those days was also the spiritual leader of the nation; he was therefore responsible for looking after the people’s spirituality. He did not care about this – so he was a man-pleaser. If J. had removed the high places, the people would have got upset with him. Equally, in the Church today, there are so many pastors who have allowed people to bring in any rubbish from the devil, as long as they are in church.

2) He was a friend of King Ahab. Ahab supported his wife (Jezebel), who as killing the prophets of God. So, Jehoshaphat was afraid of a man who was killing the prophets of God.

We can not have friends among people who are not godly. NB we must not compromise, though it will cost us in terms of persecution– e.g. the example of one of Suresh’s ex-students, a pastor at Ampara, who was badly beaten up recently for refusing to compromise on idolatry (as requested by Buddhist monks).

You find “Jehoshaphats” all over; they show false spirituality, but deep within they have not removed the shrines, & they are friends with Ahab.

In verses 24-29, a false prophet comes & humiliates Micaiah. Jehoshaphat was just sitting (on one of the 2 kings’ thrones there) looking at all these things! If J. was a God-fearing man, why did he not stop all this? He did not defend ot protect the man of God, though he had the power to do so.

Summary of Character (1):

Jehoshaphat had three main problems:

I. He tolerated people who were messing up their spiritual lives. In the same way nowadays, many denominations tolerate Jezebel etc.

II. Ahab should not have frightened any God-fearing man. In the same way today, people are frightened of Jezebel etc.

III. Jehoshaphat did not come to protect the servant of God. So today, Christians are not standing for the faith!

(2) Ahab:

Ahab was the most evil of the list of 4 personages [see I Kings 16]. Israel after the split in the time of Rehoboam son of Solomon, had 19 kings. Not one of them was good!

Scripture for study on Ahab - I Kings 16:

In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, twelve years: six years reigned he in Tirzah.

And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria.

But Omri wrought evil in the eyes of the LORD, and did worse than all that were before him.

For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.

Now the rest of the acts of Omri which he did, and his might that he shewed, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

So Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria: and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.

And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years.

And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him.

And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.

And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.

And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun.

Notes on Ahab:

In verse 31 we are told that Ahab did ‘walk in the sins of Jeroboam.’ Jeroboam as king of Israel placed 2 golden calves for the people to worship (see Exodus 32 for the golden calf the Israelites made & worshipped in the days of Moses). These calves were the same – fertility god.

Also in verse 31 we are told that Ahab ‘took to wife Jezebel.’ This is important for the following reason: when Joshua conquered the land of Canaan, Canaan was made up of many nations, each with their own local deities. Later, King David expelled the whole cult of Baal from Canaan, & the prophets of Baal dispersed to neighbouring lands, as ‘refugees.’

There is a parallel in British history. Once, the white ‘Anglo-Saxons’ ruled Britain (& a lot of the world!). After two world wars, Great Britain began to feel sorry for ruling the world. Then, in a nice way, they opened the nation to refugees, who now rule this nation! We are afraid to offend the refugees – soon they will openly be ruling Britain.

This is what happened to the Zidonians. Baal was a refugee. The people of Zidon married the deity Baal with their local deity Melchat. The high priest of this was the King of Zidon, Ethbaal [word means ‘the servant of Baal’]. His daughter was called Jezebel, Ahab married her; she brought her deities with her into Israel. So, King Ahab was bringing in the once-expelled Baal into Canaan again.

Putting things into the wider context – what does Jezebel do (i.e. the Jezebel spirit)? She brings back into the Christian Church the once-expelled evils, e.g. homosexuality. All these sins were expelled from the Church by Jesus. When He cried, ‘It is finished!’ He was meaning, ‘Everything is finished!’ i.e. ‘Devil – you’re finished!’

Satan tried to get Jesus to pay homage to him – same technique as Jezebel. He tried to get Him to acknowledge the King. [Greek ‘bow down’ or ‘grovel’ to acknowledge the king] which really conveys the meaning ‘come & lick the hand of the master.’

So, Satan (Jezebel) tells Jesus, ‘Here’s my hand; lick me like a dog.’ N.B. it was prophesied over Ahab that the dogs would come & lick his blood. The devil told Jesus: ‘Just be a dog; just this once…’

Jesus said, ‘Get thee hence, Satan!’ Three & a half years later, on the cross, Jesus took back all the devil had taken. Jezebel now wants to bring all these things back to the Church.

The Four Meanings of the name ‘Jezebel’:

Meaning no. 1 - Love [false love]:

Jesus said, Hate the sin; love the sinner. Some people need a ‘kick on their back,’ rather than ‘loving-kindness.’ Look at examples from the early Church – e.g. Ananias & Sapphira in Acts 5.

Today, if you preach an ‘offensive’ sermon, ‘offensive’ is categorized by Jezebel. If such sermons are offensive, then so is the knife of the doctor who does surgery on you! When the Word of God, preached as it is, is offensive, it is offensive to Jezebel.

Preach the Word as it is!!! Look at some of the programmes in churches. Who wrote the Bible? The Love of God=God is Love – are we going to teach Him what love is?

Meaning no.2 is ‘not exalted:’

We are in reality the sons of God. But Jezebel attacks us with false humility, pulling us down to ‘worm’ status.

Meaning no.3 is ‘Where is the prince?’

Meanings number 2 & 3 are contradictory. The Jezebel spirit will cause people to be proud of what they know & have learned. An example of this is the ‘Nicolaitans’ named after one of the deacons in Acts 6. They were a cult founded by the deacon Nicolas.

Look at the irony of these 2 meanings, ‘false humility’ & ‘pride.’

Meaning no. 4 is ‘husbandlessness.’

the husband is the head. ‘Husbandlessness’ therefore is ‘willing to live without the head.’ See I Corinthians 12 – God has given apostles & prophets=leadership of the Church.

There are extremes here. Meaning no. 4 means to slay the apostles & prophets – you do not accept their leadership in your heart.

Look at the churches today. If you want to see the world, you go to the church.!

The trick of Ahab is seen in

I Kings 21:

And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,

Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, which is in Samaria: behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, whither he is gone down to possess it.

And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.

And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast thou found me, O mine enemy? And he answered, I have found thee: because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the LORD.

Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel,

And will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked me to anger, and made Israel to sin.

And of Jezebel also spake the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.

Him that dieth of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat.

But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.

And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

And it came to pass, when Ahab heard those words, that he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly.

And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,

Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days: but in his son's days will I bring the evil upon his house.

In verses 27-29, we read of Ahab’s ‘false repentance.’ God’s heart is tender & loving, but still punishing! If Ahab’s repentance had been true repentance, he would have shown the fruits of it, e.g. ha would have killed his wofe Jezebel, & reversed everything.

You will find false repentance in churches today.

What is very interesting in I Kings’ story of Elijah is that the devil used the ‘first lady’ of Zidon, Jezebel; God used the ‘last lady’ of Zidon, i.e. the humble widow of Zarephath, to look after Elijah.

Group (3) – the False Prophets (all 400 of them!):

Ahab loved the prophets, because they always prophesied what he wanted to hear. False prophets always soothe your ear – always say what you want to hear. See I Kings 22 verse 6 (above). They did not spend time in the presence of God - not a praying people.

By associating with all this, Jehoshaphat is putting all the people of Judaea, & himself, at risk.

The false prophets are always ready to prophesy to please people. Prophecies should be substantiated by the Word of God.

In I Kings 22 verses 19-22, the lying spirit is bold. This tells us that those ‘prophets’ would entertain lying spirits. Spirits should be afraid of (true) prophets!

False prophets can humiliate & attack true prophets all the time.

It hurts when Christians come against us – it always happens when you make a stand for the Lord, & for the Word.

One of the characteristics of the false prophets is to hurt you. ‘You are small…insignificant…big-mouthed etc.’

(4) The True Prophet (Micaiah):

Look at the proportions of evil to good! 400 false prophets to 1 true one; 3 bad characters / groups to 1 good one. Always, the true prophets are in the minority. Look at the traits of the true prophet:

Verse 14: ‘What the Lord saith unto me, that will I speak.’ A true prophet always sticks to the Word. The true prophet always stick to the Word of God.

Verses 15-17: These contain a lot of sarcasm. ‘Go, & prosper…’ This is cynical irony; really a rebuke. The next verse shows that the king knew Micaiah was being sarcastic. So Micaiah then told the true prophecy.

True prophets have a little bit of a sarcastic way of preaching! Here, Micaiah is exposing the false!

Present day application: do not ignore what is going on in the Church – we have to stand up against it!

See also verse 25 – sarcasm again. A true prophet will expose the evil from the Church - & he will not shut up!

In verses 19 & 22, he explains all that. He explains how the evil spirit entered the false prophets.

The mark of the true prophet - see verses 26-28. True prophets are always ignored, abused emotionally & physically, etc.

Final Summary:

Of the 4 groups (personages), Jehoshaphat was shrewd & cunning – but the greatest & best was no.4, Micaiah.

Let us have more Micaiahs!!!

BLOCKAGE No 2 IN WALES: THE SAD WELSH FLAG OF DEFEAT

Wales is a very sad country today for its place in the United Kingdom has been undermined by the flag of St. David not being included in the Union Jack. Instead Wales chooses a flag of a defeated dragon, a dragon symbolising a Druidic past rather than its great Christian revivals of the 1700’s and early twentieth century.

Revivalist Evan Roberts thought it strange that a country with a Christian heritage should have as its symbol a dragon that the Bible declares to be Satan. It is time to bring life back to Wales, a nation famous for its missionaries going all over the World as a result of great revivals.

Revelation 12:9 (King James Version)

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Away from the defeated symbol

As I was burdened for Wales and prayed for the success of the kingdom of God and battled against the forces of darkness I was burdened by the necessity of removing the dragon from being the emblem of our country. As the religion of Wales is based on the Holy Scriptures and because the red dragon in the scriptures is a symbol of the devil is it not scriptural to remove it? When the devil sees his symbol on the flag of a Christian country that professes to hate him it is a source of joy to him. Is there not a cry in the hearts of thousands of followers of the Lamb in Wales against this inconsistency between their profession and their emblem?

To be a full member of a Protestant United Kingdom Wales must put aside its pagan emblem and take an enthusiastic role in the United Kingdom Protestant nation moving away from its reliance on Brussels in its new founded Assembly and coming back to playing a full part in the United Kingdom Parliament.

The alliance with England began in 1284 with the Statute of Rhuddlan which placed lands in Wales under the control of what would be the British Crown. the marcher lordships were abolished as political units and five new counties (Monmouthshire, Brecknockshire, Radnorshire, Montgomeryshire and Denbighshire) were established, thus creating a Wales of 13 counties;
other areas of the lordships were annexed to Shropshire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Glamorgan, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Cardiganshire and Merionethshire
the borders of Wales were established and have remained the same since; this was unintentional as Wales was to be incorporated fully into England, but the status of Monmouthshire was still ambiguous until 1974;
the courts of the marcher lordships lost the power to try serious criminal cases;
the office of Justice of the Peace was introduced;
Wales elected members to the English (Westminster) Parliament;
the Council of Wales and the Marches was established on a legal basis;
the Court of Great Sessions were established, a system peculiar to Wales;

The result of this was that Wales fully became part of the British Protestant Constitutional heritage, Wales’s apparent semi independence today placing its people under the bondage of the Treaty of Rome rather than the freedom of Great Britain’s constitutional acts.

“So shall the witchcraft be scattered from the hills, saith the Lord. So shall the false ‘Church’ be exposed for what it is. For I am building My Church, & the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

“Thou hast studied Rees Howells, as he stood in the queue to pay his ticket, without at that time the physical resources to purchase that ticket. But thou hast gained the ground of intercession. Thou hast stood in intercession in that place, & the ground has been claimed.

“Yet there is an aspect of this you must not forget: that you have already brought in the architects. You know from them how much approximately the project will cost, which is about £1,000,000. One needs to contact the County Council Planning Department & ask about those fields, & state a claim on the ground through the planning office.

“This is My Word today. I am Jehovah Jireh. I will never let you down. And as you step out on this project of Chapel Pentecost, so shall the enemy be confounded; for he has looked to destroy & remove your resources; & here you are, stepping out on a major building project.

“The moving on process has been hindered by those who have sought to have their way, when you have looked to Me, to obey that I have called you to do.

“I am your provider. I know now, you need a major financial breakthrough; & there are things you must do to bring the conditions for the moving on process to go ahead:-

(1) Recognise your opposition.

(2) Face up to that opposition by declaring the Woes, as I declared the Woes to those who opposed Me in My earthly ministry.

“For example: “Woe unto those who seek position rather than sacrifice. Woe unto those who have tried to manipulate, rather than obey & accept, God-given leadership. Woe unto those who have been convicted, & fought back.”

“And so, with the Woes, you are bringing the condition for judgement to take place. Judgement begins at the house of the Lord. And those who have made these commitments need to keep them, & repent of looking to force issues with the will of their minds.

“As you have said ‘Vengeance is Mine, saith the Lord.’ And this will happen after you have called it at Pendalar.“There have been those who have tried to place the fellowship under the bondage of the human state, rather than have the fellowship moving in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

“This has been very important in the growth of thy ministry: that thou hast gone through a period of being small.

“But thou must understand - & understand well – that the day of the small things is over.

“Renew your minds through My Word. David had his time of small things; & still in those times, he faced the giant, as indeed you have faced giants. They have looked to constantly pull you down in this time of small things; but thou hast used stones from My Word.

“I use the analogy in relation to the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God; which thou hast devoured, in readiness for this day.

“Elijah had his day of small things, in the cave & forgotten; suppressed & put into a corner, just like you have been. But he had his day of facing the prophets of Baal; & you are about to have your day likewise.

“When you walk down that aisle in Bangor Cathedral, so shall the spirits of antichrist quiver. They will run at the sound of My Name delivered from thy lips; for the Name of Jesus is high above any antichrist manipulation.

“Be prepared, with thy own chapel, never mind 4 hours long, never mind 5 hours long, never mind 6 hours long, never mind 7 hours long; be prepared for meetings to go ondays; such will be the move of My Spirit, bringing men & women on their knees before Me. Have you got the idea of what I call ‘big’? Remove your human perspectives. When I build My Church, I build My Church. The people shall lose their religious perspectives. You shall sing the old hymn, “Are You Washed in the Blood? Are your garments spotless, are they white as snow? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?”

“Oh, these are the days, not of the small things, which you did not despise; these are the days to bring a chapel movement the devil thought he had destroyed, only for a seven-fold bigger movement than it ever was, to replace it!
“But what is it replacing? Not the Spirit-anointed chapel movement of the saints of old, which he can never destroy. What he has destroyed, is his own dead religious form; so in effect, he has destroyed himself. Such is the stupidity of the devil.

“But what is in thee, is rivers of living water. Are you prepared for this in your mind-set? Renew your mind, from My Spirit within thee.

“Rejoice in what I have had to say today. You are going to have to work hard now; for the joy of the Lord shall be thy strength. Oh, rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice! I say, Rejoice!”

“Thus saith the Lord: this is the hour of the Lord’s coming – this is the year of the Lord’s coming.

“Do not look back – go forward, saith the Lord. Be filled with My Spirit, saith the Lord.

“Even now, they bow their knee to the Antichrist. Even now, they bow their knees to the idol Mary; their Mary not being the Mary of Bethlehem & of Nazareth; but their Mary is one whom they present as an antichrist, to whom they pray to bring in the order of the Antichrist.

“You are to expose the idol Mary wherever you go – as an idol. Does it not say in My Word, worship no one but Me? Does it not say in My Word to pray to the Father in the name of Jesus?

“Not only am I filling you with My Holy Ghost, to fulfil My last-day command; I am filling you with fire – oh yes, the fire is to fall upon you as you speak My Word.

“No holding back now – My command is to go forward, preach the gospel toevery creature - & I am holding you responsible for this.

“For if you say you are crucified with Christ, then you have the mind of Christ, which is to go into the whole world & preach the gospel – My Isaiah 61 command.

“As to building up waste places, your country too has become one because of your (Britain’s) denial of Me.

“You are My remnant to build up this waste place. That is why I am putting you in the seats of government like I did with David and Solomon – I have not changed.

“I have called you to meet with heads of state, to build up waste places all over the world.

“This anointing you carry to build up waste places will build up Zimbabwe, & thetelevision station you are building in Kenya will broadcast into Zimbabwe & have special Zimbabwe programmes. You see, Antichrist is already defeated through the blood of Christ.

“My Word declares that already many antichrists have come. Such is one in Zimbabwe.

“I am calling you to start the Christian Party in Zimbabwe, where you will appoint the anointed to be head of state in Zimbabwe, & help him build up the waste places. And that land will be a Christian country, saith the Lord. And just as Rees Howells became responsible at that time for Ethiopia, I call thee My intercessors to be responsible for Zimbabwe, where many Christians are persecuted. I am laying the responsibility on you to set them free in My Name, for the Christ is higher than the Antichrist. Expect great displays of miracles, signs & wonders.

“Stay in this place of complete reliance on Me – complete confidence in Me. Have no doubts.

“These miracles are going to follow you all over the world, as you preach as My empty vessels.

“This is the empowerment anointing.

“Thou art to go forward, My children, & not look back. What is happening amongst thee is in Joshua 3. The people have murmured against the prophet, & those who have murmured will wander for eternity in the wilderness. They will continue to look back; they will continue to wear the robes of slavery; they will continue to be at the beck & call of Pharaoh.

“And so, you have a group of people who insist on being slaves to the system; who insist on being at the beck & call of Pharaoh; who insist to be at the beck & call of the one who was defeated 2000 years ago - the one who manifests as Pharaoh in the Old Testament context.

“Remember My word in relation to Lucifer? “I shall be like the Most High.” Remember he was able to produce signs & wonders, like the Most High?

“There have been those who have bowed down to the golden calf; but as Moses came down from the mountain with his Rhema, so they have been afraid of thee as thou hast lifted up My Word. As you have lifted up My Word, so have diseases gone, as in the wilderness, as Moses lifted up the brazen serpent, the devil has been afraid.

“But you have sought to bring a people far above even those things. As Moses looked to the day of My Spirit being poured upon all flesh, & as you have come to My place of sanctification as in Joshua 3, there are those who continue to be slaves under Pharaoh.

“And there is another group of people: these are the victims of Pharaoh; the victims of false prophethood; the victims of those who have performed signs & wonders, yet not in My name. They have placed their wealth in the hands of the Pharaoh, who hath performed like the Most High [Isaiah 14], but have confused & manipulated the minds of saintly victims. Within materials sent by post have been spirits of manipulation & mind control; spirits that have stolen the very energy, the very – even the ability to hear from Me. These are the spirits which Luther stood against in his Theses. And I have given thee My theses, over those summer nights, which the whole Church was to pay attention to.

“But as they went through times of murmuring & dishonouring to the prophet of old, so have they dishonoured thee.

“There are three types of people: the slaves, the victims, & those who enter the Promised Land.

“My Word declares to forget the things which are behind; yet those who are victims continue to be tormented day after day, moment after moment, by the hurts of the past. They cannot come & stand on the high ground, for they have been thrown down to be unworthy. They cry out to God rather than manifest God. They wallow in self-pity.

“Yet thou have reached the point of preaching week after week on holiness, on sanctification, on separation. Thou hast taken all of the people to the place Shittim; & there is a river out there which thou art to cross, lifting up My Word as they lifted up My ark.

“Thou hast gathered around the walls, which thou hast called the gateways of North Wales; & some have wondered what thou hast been doing there, which thou hast known to be the breaking down of the barriers to revival.

“There is a factor here: those who are slaves to the system of the veil; they have seen you removing their security zones. The Church is the building of God, not the building of man. And you have been right to portray the removal of buildings which have become idols to the Pharaoh of Egypt. Yet the victims stay with their wanderings of mind, with their self-pity, having placed their trust in those who perform signs & wonders, rather than place their trust with those who proclaim My Word; who allow the Spirit of God to confirm with signs & wonders, such as it is with your place by the River Jordan. You have trumpeters to go out to your places of intercession, of warfare; yet there are those who are victims, & those who are slaves, who cannot go forward. The victims see the Promised Land, yet they see it as far away. The slaves still wear the clothes of past traditions.

“Yet I have called thee to go forward, for tomorrow the Lord will perform signs & wonders amongst thee. Blind eyes will see; the dead will be raised. You see, thou hast brought the people to the place of sanctification, of separation. They have to choose between remaining a slave, remaining a victim, or going forward into the Promised Land.

“What art thou to do? My Word declares “Come out from among them; what concord has Christ with Baal?” Thou art to walk in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus; to go forward, & not look back.

“Thou hast told the people to write the vision. Your last year was about making the vision plain. You have now reached the point of entering the Promised Land. Choose thee this day whom you will serve.

“The victims & the slaves think in their natural senses; it is as if they cannot hear from God for themselves. Yet you are to go forward.

“Place your trumpeters at the remaining gateways. Take those of the heavenly places over the Jordan into the Promised Land, where thy way will be clear; & praise Me; proclaim My Word. As they lifted up My ark, so must thou proclaim My Word.

“Thou hast sounded an alarm in Zion. Go forward; go forward; be in My strength & My glory.”

“THROUGH ALL THIS SUFFERING”

“The suffering you have endured, the torments, the agonizing, the weepings, the calling upon My Name: now, David, remember when I called you to use My Name in Andhra Pradesh? You were right in the middle of a massive scam of those looking to gain riches from those who were giving their lives for the gospel.

“They look at you constantly, looking to hang on to something you have got; & they look to behave like you behave. But their agenda is not to set the people free, like youragenda is, but they look to control the people, through a kind of copied anointing. They then wait until you fall, when they can then take over your ministry, with the copied anointing, rather than the real one.

“Isn’t that the way the devil has operated since he fell from heaven? What has happened to you, happened to the Father, the devil copying the real anointed, with a copied anointing, rather than the real one.

“You have had those come in looking to copy your anointing; rather than go through the process of losing everything. They look to gain the kingdoms of your world, just as the devil did.

“Were there not those in your fellowship, who simply wanted to observe your actions, & then put their observations into practice, by adding on to the anointing a human side, which of course is corrupted by sin? Such as it was with the devil. He looked to copy God, stole what God had, through mixing a copy anointing, to steal what you have gained. This means as the devil stole the kingdoms of My created world, gaining men on his side through temptation of the flesh, such as occurred in the Garden of Eden, where the sin of the tree of knowledge was the placing of academic understanding into the anointing.

“Since then, a human logic has been placed into what people perceive to be the anointing, into the majority, in Britain, of what is perceived to be Church life.

“So, the sin running through the copy anointed, is the original sin of Adam, where human rationale is placed into the copy anointing.

“So, in your fellowship have been those looking to watch your every move, so they can emulate that in their own ministry, & become the copy-anointed. But they place the copy-anointing into the human framework, & will only operate within the human framework; for within their rebellion, they have eaten of the tree of knowledge; & just as Adam & Eve were thrown out of the garden, combining human knowledge into the anointing throws people out of the kingdom of God; because I am a holy God.

“Now, if you look in the New Testament, there were those looking to copy the anointed. Things have not changed much, have they? Going back to the devil – remember Lucifer spent his time observing in Heaven; places his own thoughts, & combined it with the purity of God, as he saw it; brought his selfish ambition into the anointing; he brought his pride into the anointing; & he who looks to copy today, has occurred in your fellowship, the emphasis being on discussion of things, rather than surrender to God; through their discussion, are in fact eating of the tree of knowledge. The Age of Reason, known as The Enlightenment, came about through those eating of the tree of knowledge.

“This rationale runs through nearly the whole of your earthly society. So thinkspiritually of what the devil did. It is all in My Word.

“Selah. Meditate on that for a moment. All he wanted to ever do, was to be Me. So all of his operations, in witchcraft, mind suggestion techniques, hypnotism, yoga, was to bring about a spectating copy-anointed, who would look to grab what God has got, without the suffering, the loss of property, which you have gone through.

“So, what the devil looks to do through his copy-anointing, is not to set the people free, to send them on their way to hear from God – oh no! There is a price to be paid in the copy-anointing.

“The devil uses healing techniques to hold people under bondage to him. How many healing operations of the devil are there? But you will see from the early Church, those healed were sent on their way praising God, gaining the ability to hear from God. But those moving in the copy-anointing, place themselves in position for they themselves to hear from “God” for the individual, which is where you have got your heavy shepherding movements & all the rest of it.

“What those who have eaten off the tree then do, is not start movements of their own. They look to steal those from your own fellowship group, through false rumour, lies, & deceit. They then start a group with those who they have tempted to eat of the same tree they have eaten off. They do this through human rationale; & because of the Age of Reason, they have a fertile ground to move into.

“So they steal your flock, tempt them as the serpent tempted Adam & Eve, & then look to completely remove you from the position you have in the anointing.

“They do this by placing doubt in people’s minds, over what you have been preaching; particularly when it comes to holiness teaching. The copy-anointed then say, ‘Well, we’re only human. This stuff on perfection’s not Biblical.’ They become deniers of the Blood. They accept sin as being part of the anointing. But you have preached that a Christian is a supernatural being; but they have eaten of the fruit of the tree, & have a human rationale.

“You are looking to have an audience to preach the true message of the gospel. Why do you think the devil has stolen the money to keep you off the TV screens? You are dangerous to his counterfeit (look up Word II Corinthians 4:4). He is there as the god of this world, luring continuously the true Church, with the same temptation he gave to Eve: to move in human rationale, rather than dying to self, & being moved by the Spirit of God.

“So what you have now, in so-called churches, in the majority of cases, are ministers of the academic rather than the spiritual Word. They shall not enter the kingdom of God.

“And within the equation of their luring into the tree of knowledge, they then look to steal from the real anointed, & ultimately destroy them. This is what has been happening to you. John 10:10 – what does the devil do

“So, in today’s terminology, the devil stole from God, part of God’s congregation. For with him, fell other angels, known as the fallen angels. These are the spirits which control the minds of those eating off the tree of knowledge.

“Now, you know there in My Word, it declares there were many more miracles than what is contained in this book; then consider this: in the anointing, there comes a follow-on from what academic knowledge can even begin to comprehend. The revivals of the past brought about great signs & wonders; & so, the real anointed go continuously being under threat of those who have eaten off the tree. For they are out to kill them & destroy them. They make human observations of you in the anointing, & let humanity check them out, rather than God.

“So here you are, having lost congregation; & I lost congregation in Heaven. So today, your battle-ground consists of those copy-anointed who are out to kill, steal, & destroy you, & have their own heavy-shepherding group that cannot even begin to comprehend the price you have paid for the anointing.

“Do you understand? They their spectating includes human rationale explanations. Rather than having Church led by the Spirit, they just copy the gifts by placing them in the human perspective, rather than God’s.”

Revival Evan Roberts who brought true revival to Wales

PLACE OF MANY BETRAYALS .....

And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying,

O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

St Matthew chapter 26 verse 39

In this verse Matthew takes us to the loving heart of our God. There is a depth which is not of this world for Matthew takes us into the realm of the divine.

This is right into what Jesus was prepared to go through in order to provide the way by which sinners could be restored to fellowship with a holy and righteous God. Words are inadequate to do justice as the scene of Jesus’ agony in Gethsemane is considered. May we reflect on this sacred scene with our hearts receptive to the revelation of the Holy Ghost who alone can show us the cost of what Jesus went through on that momentous night.

Jesus had shared the last supper with his disciples. This had been a time in which he had opened his loving heart to his disciples as he looked to show them that the bread and wine which he shared with them was to represent his own body and blood. What sacred truths are before us as soon afterwards Jesus would go out into the night and alone face the darkest hour which would be when the devil was to be allowed to do his worst.

The institution of the Lord’s Supper touches us as it is from that time when Jesus showed that it was to be his broken body and shed blood which would reconcile sinners with God. Each time we partake of the Lord’s Supper our hearts are stirred to know that it cost Jesus his all to bring undeserving sinners back to God. We can never take the night of Jesus ’betrayal lightly for if we do we fail to see right into the loving heart of our God.

Jesus had made it clear that he was to be betrayed by one of his disciples. He had explained that all would desert him. Even Peter in all his words to the contrary would not be able to stand with Jesus in his darkest hour. What desolation waited for our lovely Jesus. As Jesus left the upper room and went to a place called Gethsemane it was with a heavy heart.

On arrival he left the disciples to wait for him except in that he took Peter, James and John with him. Even then this was too much for Peter, James and John as they fell asleep. What could Jesus do in this time when he stood alone. He prayed. He poured out his soul unto the Father. Remember that Jesus had spoken about the Father and himself being one.

I and my Father are one.

St John chapter 10 verse 30

It was through this intimacy with the Father upon whom Jesus had relied upon throughout his earthly ministry that Jesus now looked for the strength to face the darkest hours that this world had ever known. These were to be the hours when the devil himself would be defeated at Calvary and all mankind would receive the chance of being given the opportunity to be reconciled to God.

At what cost though. Have we ever really taken the time to let the sufferings of our Lord eat into our hearts. Jesus began to be sorrowful and very heavy. He faced up to what this meant and triumphed in his own spirit. The flesh could never be willing to accept what was before him.

This was a spiritual battle with the devil and it was his spirit which would see him through. Jesus had to be strengthened by his Father as he poured out his soul. It was the prospect of loosing contact with his Father which troubled Jesus. Remember Jesus said that I and my father are one. The prospect of carrying the sin of every sinner was one we cannot take in. My sin, your sin and the sin of every sinner every born or still to be born.

Because Jesus was to be made sin for us whilst he was nailed to the cross he would for that period of time lose the communication he had always had with his Father. O the cost to my blessed Jesus.

It is no wonder that Jesus asked the Father if it was possible to let the cup pass from him. This was the cup of suffering. He fell to his face as all strength appeared to have been drained from him. Blessed Lord how you faced these moments with deep agony of soul.

No one but our God could have faced the prospect of Calvary and then to have accepted every last draining moment. Jesus prayed for the Father’s will to be done and went forward from that moment knowing that all he had come to earth to do was now to be fulfilled. He could face the betrayal of Judas. He could go forward to be treated worse than anyone has ever been treated as he was mocked during his trial. He could face the agony of the cross.

All was now assured. Dare we ever take the scene presented to us at Gethsemane lightly? Surely not. Do you thank him enough for all he has done for you? Each day we have the opportunity to thank Jesus for all he means to us and all he has done. In the light of the cost to Jesus we can say we pour contempt on all my pride. It is not who we are or what we have done which is of value but only who Jesus is and what he has done.

The ways of the world are ones of pride and self seeking. There is no room for pride to the Christian. The world acts with pride as those who are of the world can only live by the flesh. Christians are those who live and move and work in the power of the spirit. It is the Holy Ghost living within the believer who shows us the way of Gethsemane. For the true believer there is also the way of suffering as we are taken into the sufferings of Jesus.

Do not be taken by surprise at what you will have to face in the way of betrayal. Your betrayers are likely to be those who call themselves fellow Christians. Not all who call themselves Christian act like Christians. They act in the flesh not the spirit. They act like those with the world’s values rather than following the teachings of the Bible. Blessed Jesus when you said:

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

St Matthew chapter 5 verse 8

Jesus how it must grieve you that many who claim to be your own do not show pureness of heart towards those who love you with a pure heart. It is those who betray Jesus by their actions against other Christians who are doing great damage to the body of Christ. May we never be people who are betrayers or act through pride or as the world would do. May we be those who see Jesus who through suffering has been able to make us those who will give their whole life to Jesus each and every moment no matter what we too have to suffer for him who loved us and gave himself for us.

Lord Jesus Christ we can never thank you enough in time or eternity for all you are or what you have done for us. When we consider all the agony you went through in the garden of Gethsemane everything we have to face in life pales into insignificance. May your people be set apart from the world and seen as those who manifest the life and love of God. Lord look upon those who call themselves Christian but carry out acts of betrayal on other Christians.

Lord show these betrayers that they are kicking against your own sufferings when they make other Christians suffer. Lord in your mercy bring these betrayers to see your agony in Gethsemane and the agony they are creating in others. Lord Jesus help us to pour contempt on all our pride and look to you and you alone and allow the Holy Ghost to live a life in and through us which takes the love and presence of God wherever we go. This prayer seeks only to bring honour to the name of our God. Amen.

Two names came to us - William Williams and Evan Roberts.

This account by Roberts Jones of the William Williams Revival of 1762 gives insight to supernatural events of that year ....

About the year 1762, in the face of great unworthiness and baseness, God remembered His covenant, by visiting graciously a great number of sinners in several parts of Wales; the Sun of Righteousness arose on a great throng of those who sat in the land and shadow of death. In these summer-like days one might say: `Lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle-dove is heard in our land'.

There was a great difference between this revival and that which began at first through [the agency of] Mr. Harris: the mode of proceeding in that was sharp and very thunderous: but in this, as in the house of Cornelius long ago, great crowds magnified God without being able to cease, but sometimes leaping in jubilation as did David before the Ark. Sometimes whole nights were spent with a voice of joy and praise, as a multitude that kept holiday. I heard from a godly old woman that it lasted three days and three nights without a break in a place called LOn-fudr in Lljrn, Caernarfonshire, one crowd following the other: when some went home, others came in their place; and although they went to their homes for a while, they could stay there hardly any time before returning. When these powerful outpourings descended on several hundreds, if not thousands, throughout South Wales and Gwynedd, there arose much excitement and controversy concerning the matter; many were struck with amazement and said, 'What can this mean?' `They are drunkards,' said some. Others said, 'They are mad', very like those [earlier scoffers] on the day of Pentecost long ago: but hardly anyone dared harm them, apart from making them a target for hostile tongues . . .

(It is noteworthy that it was on the day that Mr. W. Williams brought the hymn-book entitled Y Mor o Wydr ['The Sea of Glass'] to Llangeitho that the revival broke out, after the long winter which had enveloped the churches because of the schism which has already been mentioned.)[3]

Over to W.T. Stead who interviewed Evan Roberts at the time of the Revival .......

I attended three meetings at Mardy in the Rhondda Valley on Sunday, sat beside him on the platform, and had tea with him at a friend's house. After tea Mr. Roberts consented to an interview. He was simple and unaffected; absolutely free from any vanity or spiritual pride. He spoke in English with considerable ease, but his hearers say that it is only when he uses his Welsh tongue that they hear the melody of his voice.

"The movement is not of me," said Mr. Roberts— "it is of God. I would not dare to try to direct it. Obey the Spirit, that is our word in everything. It is the Spirit alone which is leading us in our meetings and in all that is done."

"You do not preach, or teach, or control the meetings?"

"Why should I teach when the Spirit is teaching? What need have these people to be told that they are sinners? What they need is salvation. Do they not know it? It is not knowledge that they lack, but decision—action. And why should I control the meetings? The meetings control themselves, or rather the Spirit that is in them controls them."

"You find the ministry of the Singing Sisters useful?"

"Most useful. They go with me wherever I go. I never part from them without feeling that something is absent if they are not there. The singing is very important, but not everything. No. The public confession is also important—more so than the speaking. True, I talk to them a little. But the meetings go of themselves."

"Do you propose to go to England?"

"No. To North Wales next. They say North Wales is stony cold, but I believe the Holy Spirit will work there also. Oh, yes, God will move North Wales also."

"Can you tell me how you began to take to this work?"

"Oh, yes, that I will," said Mr. Roberts, "if you wish to hear of it. For a long, long time I was much troubled in my soul and my heart by thinking over the failure of Christianity.

Oh! it seemed such a failure—such a failure—and I prayed and prayed, but nothing seemed to give me any relief. But one night, after I had been in great distress praying about this, I went to sleep, and at one o'clock in the morning suddenly I was waked up out of my sleep, and I found myself with unspeakable joy and awe in the very presence of the Almighty God. And for the space of four hours I was privileged to speak face to face with Him as a man speaks face to face with a friend. At five o'clock it seemed to me as if I again returned to earth."

"Were you not dreaming?" I asked.

"No, I was wide awake. And it was not only that morning, but every morning for three or four months. Always I enjoyed four hours of that wonderful communion with God. I cannot describe it. I felt it, and it seemed to change all my nature, and I saw things in a different light, and I knew that God was going to work in the land, and not this land only, but in all the world."

"Excuse me," I said, "but, as an old interviewer, may I ask if, when the mystic ecstasy passed, you put on paper all that you remembered of these times of communion?"

"No, I write nothing at all," said Mr. Roberts. "It went on all the time until I had to go to Newcastle Emlyn to the college to prepare for the ministry. I dreaded to go for fear I should lose these four hours with God every morning. But I had to go, and it happened as I feared. For a whole month He came no more, and I was in darkness. And my heart became as a stone. Even the sight of the Cross brought no tears to my eyes. So it continued until, to my great joy, He returned to me, and I had again the glorious communion. And He said I must go and speak to my people in my own village. But I did not go. I did not feel as if I could go to speak to my own people."

May I ask," I said, "if He of whom you speak appeared to you as Jesus Christ?"

"No," said Mr. Roberts, "not so; it was the personal God, not as Jesus."

"As God the Father Almighty?" I said.

"Yes," said Mr. Roberts, "and the Holy Spirit."

"Pardon me," I said, "but I interrupted you. Pray go on."

"I did not go to my people, but I was troubled and ill at ease. And one Sunday, as I sat in the chapel, I could not fix my mind upon the service, for always before my eyes I saw, as in a vision, the schoolroom in Lougher, where I live. And there, sitting in rows before me, I saw my old companions and all the young people, and I saw myself addressing them. I shook my head impatiently, and strove to drive away this vision, but it always came back. And I heard a voice in my inward ear as plain as anything saying, Go and speak to these people. And for a long time I would not. But the pressure became greater and greater, and I could hear nothing of the sermon. Then at last I could resist no longer, and I said, Well, Lord, if it is Thy will, I will go. "And then you went home?"

"No; I went to my tutor and told him all things, and asked him if he believed that it was of God or of the devil? And he said the devil does not put good thoughts into the mind. I must go and obey the heavenly vision. So I went back to Lougher, and I saw my own minister, and him also I told. And he said that I might try and see what I could do, but that the ground was stony and the task would be hard."

"Did you find it so?"

"Then after that you went on?"

"First I tried to speak to some other young people in another church, and asked them to come. But the news had gone out, and the old people said, May we not come too?

And I could not refuse them. So they came, and they kept on coming. Now here, now there all the time, and I have never had time to go back to college."

Not much chance, indeed, at present. Three meetings every day, lasting, with breaks for meals, from ten A. M. till twelve P. M., and sometimes later, leave scant leisure for studying elsewhere than in the hearts and souls of men. If only his body will hold out and his nervous system not give way, he will have time to study hereafter. At present he has other work in hand.

This is the Pentecostal Church of Scotland, Chapel Pentecost in Wales, Bible College of Wales Original Vision, the Reformed Church of England & the Pentecostal Church Movement in England all destined to grow to awesome proportions – full of Holy Ghost anointed preaching of God’s Word that reveals who we truly are in Christ Jesus! This is a RESTORING THE HERITAGE STATEMENT that fights for our nation’s Christian Constitution, a STATEMENT that demands a return to the ethical standards demanded by God and also it is a STATEMENT that insists on a return to SOUND DOCTRINE, the DOCTRINE of the AUTHORIZED VERSION rather than the false doctrine of the “new translations”!

It is the responsibility of the Church in Britain to restore the King James Version of the Bible back to its PRIMARY POSITION in British Society for it is this Bible that the present Queen, Queen Elizabeth swore upon pledging herself as Supreme Head of the Church of England (The Act of Supremacy 1534) to cause law and justice in mercy to be executed in all her judgements as well as to the utmost of her power maintain the laws of God, the true profession of the gospel and the Protestant reformed religion established by law (Coronation Oath Act, 1689).

By coming into the Union in the 1500's Bible College of Wales Original Vision is constitutionally obligated to do the same and will not accept as law any apparent Act of Parliament (Westminster or the Senedd) that would endeavour to prevent Bible College of Wales Original Vision to be part of this Constitutional obligation. Any such attempt would be seen as an Act of Treason before Almighty God & the Nation.

Whilst it is understood by Bible College of Wales Original Vision that Britain is now a multi cultural society with many different beliefs and understandings, Bible College of Wales Original Vision hereby establishes its determination to point out to the nation that it is only the Protestant Reformed Religion, which has been established by law, and that it is the role of the Monarch constitutionally to defend this faith and no other (Coronation Oath Act, 1689; Act of Settlement, 1700).

Any attempt to repeal the Constitutional Acts of our nation would be seen as an act of treason by Bible College of Wales Original Vision which is dedicated to wholeheartedly maintain the Constitutional Acts of 1534, 1689 and 1700.

It is accepted by the Bible College of Wales Original Vision that constitutionally symbols that represent the Nation have to reflect our Protestant Christian heritage and so we say to the nation of Wales to use the flag of David rather than the counterfeit so that the flag of David can be culminated into the Union Flag that depicts the flags of saints, not dragons!

In addition to this, Bible College of Wales Original Vision hereby points out that due to the obligation upon the present Queen to maintain the laws of God, it is thereby obvious that such apparent laws that have been passed by Parliament and given the Royal signature that are not matching up to the principles and guidelines given by God in His Word such as the Abortion Act of 1967, then of course the Act is not legal, and so it is to be the role of this Bible College of Wales Original Vision to point out such unbiblical actions and bring the nation before God in repentance for its sinful actions.

Statement on the British Constitution

Whilst Bible College of Wales Original Vision firmly argues that Christ Jesus himself is the Head of the Church; Col. 1:18. The Chapel Pentecost fully understands that as the Act of Supremacy 1534 itself points out, that when the Act refers to the Monarch as the supreme Head of the Church of England, the comment itself is relating to earth, and indeed Scotland due to the Act of Union. It is accepted in the act the Lordship of Jesus Christ for the act itself places obligation on the Monarch to visit, repress, reform, order, correct, restrain and amend error, heresy, abuses, offences, contempts and enormities; these actions being in line with gaining the pleasure of Almighty God and the increase in virtue of Christ’s religion, this being linked with the conservation of the peace, unity and tranquillity of the realm.

The Bible College of Wales Original Vision also accepts that when Constitutional acts refer to “England” the points raised apply to Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland also due to each respective Act of Union.

It is, therefore, perfectly legal for Bible College of Wales Original Vision as subjects of the Monarch to take action in line with this Act and so Chapel Pentecost will continue to correct error as directed by God and this will involve removing the widespread acceptance of immoral acts like abortion and homosexuality.

The Coronation Oath Act of 1689 refers to the statutes, laws and customs of the British Realm. The God given role of the Chapel Pentecost in this respect is merely to point out this serious obligation before God.

The Bible College of Wales Original Vision believes that this obligation has to be understood as referring to the Christian root of our nation, the statutes, laws and customs, therefore to be legal need to have their foundations in the Word of God. This is clearly established in the Act for the Archbishop of Bishop asks the forthcoming Monarch at his or her coronation whether he or she solemnly promises to govern according to the statutes in Parliament agreed upon, and the laws and customs of the same following this by a promise to cause law and justice to be executed in judgements, and thus following this by a promise to maintain the laws of God, the true profession of the gospel and the Protestant Reformed religion.

The Bible College of Wales Original Vision acknowledges and understands that within modern day cultures such obligations are seen as being “politically incorrect”.

The Bible College of Wales Original Vision in reply to such objections simply points out that political correctness has been written down and political correctness simply means being in line with British Constitutional values that have been established in God’s Word.

The Bible College of Wales Original Vision fully accepts and understands the obligation on the Monarch not to have communion with the Church of Rome, profess the Popish religion or marry a Papist; Act of Settlement 1700.

Whilst it is not the desire of the Bible College of Wales Original Vision to restrict or suppress lawful activities of the Roman Catholic Church, it is the decision of the Chapel Pentecost to bring a full understanding of the obligations of the Monarch to defend the Protestant Reformed faith and that this does mean that the Royal Family must be fully Protestant. It is understood from the work of Chris Richards of the Protestant Alliance that the act refers to succession to the throne coming through the Protestant Hanoverian line.

Despite of contemporary thinking, the Monarch according to constitutional acts has to be Protestant and a Defender of that faith. This is entirely in line with the obligations of the 1689 Coronation Oath Act, these obligations making it impossible for anyone but a Protestant to fulfil those obligations, in the same way that the obligations placed on the Pope could not be fulfilled by a Protestant and so it is the presentation of the Chapel Pentecost that the Act is not at all discriminatory, but simply keeps the nation back on track to its original heart and vision for without that vision, the people will perish including those of other persuasions; Proverbs 29:18.

As regards to the current social conditions in Britain: this is the position of the Bible College of Wales Original Vision.

In the Bible College of Wales Original Vision the unchanging Word of God will take priority over changing social conditions.

The Unchanging Word of God is the answer for the whole of humanity and instead of bowing down to the four horns that are polluting the World and the “Church”the Chapel Pentecost will expose the activities of the “horns” and offer a lifeline to the people.

Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these?

These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.And the Lord shewed me four carpenters.

The Bible College of Wales Original Vision accepts this is a prophetic utterance through Zechariah seeing the social conditions today as being the same that scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem.

With the power of the Holy Ghost the Bible College of Wales Original Vision will counteract the activities of these “horns” which are as follows:

I. The Spirit of Intellectualism, Humanism

and Pride in Man’s Achievements.

This sees everything in black and white, reasoning everything to a logical conclusion, man being the superior being and the mind as the source of all knowledge.

Apostle John Wesley: The devil has given to the Church a substitute for faith which looks and sounds so much like faith some people can't tell the difference =

MENTAL ASSENT.

Within this understanding there is a development of an over-stressed society for man is incapable of finding out truth which only comes through Jesus Christ and so the Chapel Pentecost will hold out a hand to an over stressed society to receive freedom through the blood of our Precious Saviour.

II. The Spirit of Anti-Christ

We live in a questioning society that is denying Biblical truth replacing this truth with a series of ideologies that result in men suffering torment in this life and eternal punishment in hell.

“New translations” contribute to this confusion with their Gnostic perspectives and so it is recognised by the Bible College of Wales Original Vision as a whole.

III. The Spirit of Immorality

Within the present social conditions this spirit has been having a hey–day for society and “Church” has moved away from Biblical truth.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

This is a road to destruction and the Bible College of Wales Original Vision will portray the only way to salvation.

IV. The Spirit of Lust or Materialism

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

This spirit creates a society intent on creating wealth for itself developing an uncontrollable desire to get more.

It is in the areas of sexual lust, love of money and intellectualism that families are being destroyed, and even today there are those in the “Church” who are discouraged with the conditions that have been brought about through the activities of the four “horns”.
