26 05 16 Brian Mason Intercession -The Heart of the Covenanters - Anwoth Old Kirk

This very deep intercession took place right at the heart of the Covenanters ..... Yet the occultic film The Wicker Man (1973) had been set here -an occultic film as with Harry Potter at Greyfriars - yet this infiltration of the Occult was exposed here bringing conditions for the dear people of Scotland to know their true heritage. Finding the grave of Mrs Stewart who is featured in Rees Howells Intercessor, Intercessor Brian Mason stood by this grave......

From the book published by Lutterworth Press ..... "While in Keswick, God gave him (Rees Howells) another marvelous confirmation. An invitation came to preach in Anwoth Parish, in Southern Scotland. Faced with such a big decision in Swansea they would not have gone but for the definite guidance of the Spirit. But as soon as they arrived in Anwoth, the lady with whom they stayed, Mrs Stewart, the widow of the former Consul General in Persia, told them in front of their bedroom window scores of the Covenanters had been martyred. 'That's God,' said Mr Howells,'the guidance is right again, taking us up here against ourselves, as it were.'

All this was the beginnings of the Bible College of Wales, set up at its very heart to fight the Church of Rome, to fulfil the heart of the Covenanters and reaching the whole world with the Gospel.

We can truly say, as Rees Howells said, that’s right the guidance is right, we have to restore the College but to do that we have to get right to its roots of holiness, and it is this holiness, the holiness of non-compromise to the religious order that we are called. The Covenanters were before us and Rees Howells – it is their passion for true New Testament Church that we dedicate ourselves today.

EXACTLY IN LINE …….. EXACTLY IN LINE writes David P Griffiths

Do not think in the land of the temporal my children for I am the GOD OF ETERNITY, not the “god of this world” and my children are not called to live by natural sight but by the faith of the Son of God.

Hebrews 11:1 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Behold I have called thee to the land of the covenanters as in the Seven Year Plan I gave thee, to build mission houses in the souths of regions all over the World. I have called thee to build in Karachi (to come), in Tamil Nadu (to come), to Africa (to come) in Sri Lanka – now being built for – those who give up their all are to have houses throughout the world, not as a feature of natural materialistic gain – but in the context of resources to reach every creature with the Gospel, those achieving this being those like Peter who gave their all.

Mark 10:28-30 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. 29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, 30 but he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

Rees Howells gave up his all and as we move to the land from where the vision came, a land that has been prioritised in relation to intercession of this the second stage of the God given plan – to impact the World.

A 7 YEAR 2015 to 2022 consisting of a number of parts,

the FIRST PART consisting of seven stages which are as follows:

Stage 1:

Jeremiah 1:10 King James Version (KJV) –

The bowling out of the Emerging Church and in this comes the teaching of entire sanctification and the all day seminars

See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Stage 2: THIS IS IT – THIS IS IT

MISSION HOUSE 1 – THE ECCTV MINISTRY CENTRE in BARRY through Rev Clive Bate bringing the true GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM to every CREATURE – whether poor or rich, clothed or unclothed – THE MISSION HOUSE IS IN OPERATION and powerfully growing in the Lord.

MISSION HOUSE 2 – TO THE CRADLE OF CHRISTIANITY IN SCOTLAND – Whithorn where Ninian, a signs and wonders Apostle who entered the shores of Scotland to bring the miracles of God as recorded in Miracula Nyniae Episcopi; also the place of the Covenanters, the covenanting martyrs who took on the establishment and shamed the wicked ways of the corrupt ecclesiastical system, a system that today still binds.

MISSION HOUSE 3 – Bellwood, Sri Lanka in the Grounds of Mount Carmel College from where great things are occurring and will expand taking Asia for God. Foundations are about to be built, the road to the mission house already built. This is a miracle of God.

Isaiah 61 King James Version (KJV) –

The South to Norths – Mission Houses – the building up of the waste places

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Stage 3:

The Freedom from Continuous Deliverance and transfer to the “Go ye”! The Frodisham and Smith prophecies

Mark 16:15-18 King James Version (KJV)

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Stage 4:

The Hitting Hard of the Communistic Blockage – the build up to Meggido – to inform the people of the oncoming charge – to be taken seriously as Western countries are taken over by the communistic charge.

Stage 5:

 The Open Confession Movement

Revelation 12:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Stages 6 & 7:

The South to Norths Revival and the return of movements back to God with the Bible College of Wales housing missionaries to change Britain – same all over the world as the facilities of God’s pioneers are returned to those carrying those callings as the final Intercession of Norman Grubb is realised.

As we touch Stage 2 – let us consider the story recorded in Rees Howells Intercessor, Chapter 25, Norman Grubb, The Lutterworth Press in line with intercessions of restoration coming through Brian Mason in strategic places, that have brought about the opportunity to restore the true landmark of the Bible College of Wales, consisting of saints who have given their all for the “Every Creature” cause.

While in Keswick, God gave him another marvellous confirmation.

It was at the Keswick Convention my dad in the 1930’s received the call to the Mission Field leaving all to “follow him”. He had left the slums of Liverpool to travel to Keswick by bike, a journey Brian Mason and I followed as seen in these intercessions the first near to Netherfield Road in Liverpool, and the second at Keswick itself.

06 09 17 WILLIAM GRIFFITHS KESWICK INTERCESSION- near Netherfield Road, Liverpool

In the early 1930's William Griffiths cycled from here to Keswick for the Convention and responded to the full surrender missions call. From Keswick to the Bible College of Wales for training, learning fluent Portuguese, and from here to Cape Verde and onto Guinea Bissau (then Portuguese Guinea).

With Clifford Kay and Bessie Fricker he worked a a WEC Missionary.

This intercession is a cry from the heart through Brian Mason for more with the hear of William Griffiths, to give their wholes lives to Christ Jesus and his will, moving in faith even standing in the queue for a ticket at Lime Street Station so as to go to Swansea, He had no money to buy the ticket but the Lord provided.

What faith, supernatural faith!

06 09 17 KESWICK CONVENTION INTERCESSION and WILLIAM GRIFFITHS

For over 140 years evangelical Christians have gathered in this Lake District town since 1875 when a tent meeting took place on the lawn of St John's Church, Vicarage.

The Convention was founded by Canon TD Harford-Battersby and Quaker Robert Wilson, the first conference lasting four days with 400 people attending under the banner "all One in Christ Jesus"! In the early 1930's William Griffiths attended the Convention having cycled from Netherfield Road, Liverpool,

He had surrendered his heart to Christ Jesus, responding to the legendary missions call, then going onto the Bible College of Wales and becoming a WEC missionary to Cape Verde and Guinea Bissau.

Today those holding the original vision of the Bible College of Wales are now banned from exhibiting at the Convention, let alone providing speakers. It will be a joy to see this Convention back into the hands of those holding the mantle of the founders who had a heart to see

THE HEART OF THE BIBLE COLLEGE OF WALES and why the return to the root …..  An invitation came to preach in Anwoth parish, in Southern Scotland. Faced with such a big decision in Swansea they would not have gone but for the definite guidance of the Spirit. But as soon as they arrived in Anwoth, the lady with whom they stayed, Mrs. Stewart, the widow of the former Consul-General in Persia, told them that in front of their bedroom window scores of the Covenanters had been martyred. “That’s God,” said Mr. Howells, “the guidance is right again, taking us up here against ourselves, as it were.”

Not knowing that it was to the grave of Mrs Stewart and her husband that we were going, we were led to Anwoth Old Kirk to restore the heart of the Covenanters back to Scotland not realising at this stage, that it was God who was looking to do this through us, the very Bible College that had received its vision in these parts.

The very words on the grave stirred our spiritual emotion and it is to this we are called. “A GOOD SOLDIER OF JESUS CHRIST …… REDEEMED WITH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST ALIVE UNTO GOD FOR EVERMORE. ALLELUIA. It was to this heritage Rees Howells found himself and it is through us that the Bible College is to be restored with the heart of the Covenanters as shown by the then widow of the former Consul-General.

The Covenanters were before us and Rees Howells – it is their passion for true New Testament Church that we dedicate ourselves today.

The following day they were invited to tea with Sir William and Lady Maxwell, at Cardoness House. The first thing he did was to take them to a small room where a framed document hung on the wall. “I am going to show you the most precious Deed in Scotland,” he said, “the Deed signed by the blood of the Covenanters.”

“When he said that,” continued Mr. Howells, “I felt my blood run cold. To think that in Glynderwen the Lord had told me He had brought me back to make a test case with the Church of Rome, and here I was face to face with that Deed. It is a wonder I remained standing on my feet. There were the signatures scrawled in blood as if with bits of stick. When I saw it, I changed altogether, and there wasn’t one thing I wouldn’t do to vindicate the Holy Spirit. I never felt anything like it before or since. I shed tears that night in my room. I said to the Holy Ghost, ‘If it costs my blood, I’ll do this for You. If Mr. Edwards asks for £10,000, I’ll pay it, and if the Church of Rome puts a match to Glynderwen the next day and burns it to ashes, I’ll say it is the best investment I ever made.’ The Spirit of God came on me to fight that Church: it was God’s anger in me towards the Church of Rome, keeping those five hundred million souls in darkness on the Continent and elsewhere. I entered into a world where fellowship with people was not to count, the only fellowship was with those martyrs who had laid down their lives for the liberty of the Gospel. When I saw that Deed, the Strength of God came into me and changed my body from clay to steel!”

It was on 26th. May 2016 we were led to Cardoness House and this intercession, and the key intercession in relation to the “Reformed Faith” now so sadly undermined, it is to be through us that the true Reformed faith is to gather a pace throughout the World for clearly here is a mantle, a mantle so strong that the gates of hell will not prevail against us, although they try!

26 05 16 INTERCESSOR BRIAN MASON at the BIRTHPLACE OF THE BIBLE COLLEGE OF WALES

(as regards to the Bible College of Wales that fought the Church of Rome over Glynderwen) if it costs me my blood

[Concerning this Deed, Mr. J. Purves, who is the author of Sweet Believing, a book on the Covenanters, has kindly sent us the following note:

“Through the Royal Stuarts, their Divine Right of Kings, and their taws and aims in the State Church, the power of Rome overshadowed Scotland almost all of the seventeenth century. At the end of February 1638 the National Covenant was drawn up by spiritual leaders of the land and eagerly subscribed to by many thousands saying’, ‘In special we detest and refuse the usurped authority of that Roman Antichrist upon the Scriptures of God, upon the kirk, the civil magistrate and conscience of men,’ and accordingly setting forth a clear and literal restatement of the Reformed Faith as given in the Confession of Faith of 1580-81. It was the open protest of a nation ‘against Popery, and a reasserting of the Scriptural views of the Gospel of Salvation. It solemnly pledged all who signed it to promote evangelical doctrine and discipline in all their Scriptural purity.

This in short is our calling. We have consistently exposed and fought the taking over of the Holy Scriptures used in Churches by Rome and its Alexandrian antichrist that has produced translations of the Bible based on Sinaiticus, Alexandrinus and Vaticanus rather that the much maligned Textus Receptus, the true Holy Scriptures that came out of the Early Church from Antioch.

“Preserved in the Museum of the Corporation of Edinburgh is the great original, a parchment of deerskin with 3,250 names and initials on it, some evidently written in blood. It was subscribed in Greyfriars Churchyard, Edinburgh, February 28, 1638. Copies of this National Covenant were immediately sent all over the country, even to as far away as London, for signatures. At present there are nearly fifty of those copies known and preserved. It was one of them, greatly treasured, that Mr. Rees Howells saw at Cardoness House, signed by some of those who suffered unto death. Copies prepared for signatures were usually written on large sheets of vellum. The one at Cardoness House is the only printed copy, whose existence is known of that great document, which when read in the churches of 1638 was heartily embraced, sworn and subscribed with tears and great joy.”

It was therefore to the Greyfriars Churchyard we went on 25th. May 2016 for intercession over this solemn deed, a deed we were being called by the Lord under the Rees Howells mantle to restore not only in Scotland, but to use it as the base of the whole Puritan Constitution of the whole of the United Kingdom. Such is our task and the reason for our move.

25 05 16 EXPOSING THE OCCULT IN THE GREYFRIARS KIRKYARD

Brian Mason Intercessor by the calling of the Holy Ghost enters the graveyard of the Greyfriars Kirkyard in Edinburgh to be surrounded by scenes of occultic activity, the branches of superstition piled up by the grave of the Greyfriars Bobby! Said to be the inspiration of JK Rowling's delves into witchcraft with her Harry Potter books it seems to have been forgotten that this was the scene of the imprisonment of the Covenanters and the location for the signing in blood of the Solemn League and Covenant. The Intercessor in Jesus Names corrects the place of great witchcraft and brings the conditions for an understanding for Scotland of its solemn deed before God - a million miles away from what this Kirkyard has stood for today!

“I am indebted to Colonel F. Rainsford-Hannay of Cardoness House for so kindly furnishing details showing the authenticity of the Cardoness copy of the National Covenant on which the honored names of peer and commoner are set side by side. Mrs. Rainsford-Hannay is a daughter of the late Sir William and Lady Maxwell who entertained Mr. Rees Howells at Cardoness House.”]

When Mr. Howells returned from Keswick, Mr. Edwards made him a definite offer of Glynderwen for £6,300. “I thought he would have asked more than that,” said Mr. Howells, “and meant to accept his offer; but the Lord said, ‘No! It was a talent of gold I promised you, £6,150, and not a penny more.’ I stood against God in a second, I showed my attitude towards Him, but He didn’t say another word, and I knew I wouldn’t dare disobey Him. When I questioned his price, Mr. Edwards told me to discuss the matter with his solicitor the next day. But instead, I went to a friend’s house in Llanelly, where for two days I neither ate nor drank. What agony I went through, but what lessons I learned! I told God that He had called me to fight the Church of Rome, and here He was quibbling over £150; but He turned it back on me. Hadn’t I claimed Glynderwen for Him? Didn’t I believe then, that the Catholics wouldn’t get it? If the battle had been won in Scotland, could the Holy Ghost ever allow Mr. Edwards to sell the property to anyone else? I was beginning to get strong now. Was Mr. Edwards in the hands of the Holy Ghost? Could the devil induce him to sell it? During the two days I came right through, and what liberty I had! Whatever price the enemy offered, he could never get it. I had heard that Mr. Edwards was a great business man, but I had to learn that God could control him. I came to the place where I knew that whenever God wants to take over a property, the owner has very little to do with it.

To return the Rees Howells Buildings at Swansea back to those upholding the Covenanter mantle of Rees Howells remains our objective, it being keen to maintain a Rees Howells presence in South Wales, thus we have the ECCTV Ministry Centre in Barry being run through the ministry of Clive Bate. This is so important, the ministry here identifying as Rees Howells did with those in need, with those looking to grow in the Lord, with those looking to be real Church reaching out to every Creature, impassioned by the Holy Ghost, spending hour after hour in the Every Creature Commission.

Thus intercessions at Barry on 14th. and 15th. October 2017.

14 10 17 BARRY MASONIC LODGE INTERCESSION

Throughout the World freemasonry has been taking over and running what is known as Church, making it a highly organized, highly business like unit. However God moves by his Spirit, his saints in full surrender declaring the LORDSHIP OF CHRIST JESUS and him alone, rejecting any idea of the coming together of all religions.

This intercession at a representative Lodge in South Wales is to bring understanding of the importance of the Church being separate from such institutions, a rejection of the York Rite said to be the "Christian rite" through the Knights Templar and Knights of Malta.

It is only therefore that potential blockages are understood and removed in relation to the coming together of true revival again in South Wales can we continue. Hence in line with Jeremiah 1:10 this intercession takes place.

It is in line with this that this ministry has set up a "Ministry Centre" in Barry to reach those who need the Lord Jesus, rejected by the establishment but in Christ Jesus welcomed with open arms.

As the restoration of "General Booth", of the heart of the primitive Salvation Army Clive Bate wanders Barry with his open King James Bible to save the lost in Jesus Name.

15 10 17 SUPPORTER OF MINISTRY DAVID DAVIES INTERCESSION IN BARRY

Intercession takes place through Brian Mason outside the former Barry Dock offices by the statue of Victorian engineer Barry Davies. In amongst his continuous engineering achievements, Barry Davies was a generous giver to the true Methodist cause encouraging his workers to shun alcoholism and attend Chapel.

This intercession goes to the heart of this, for those called of God to return Wales to the Methodist revival cause, to the teaching and preaching of holiness, the deeper live to have a Wales once more shunning the drinking house to return to Christ Jesus.

“When I returned home, I received a letter from Mr. Edwards saying that all negotiations were off. As I had not gone to the solicitor, I had proved that I was not a business man, and he would sell to the other people, who were offering him £10,000.

“I was not affected by the letter, because the Unseen Captain had taken over, and the responsibility was not mine any longer. I wrote Mr. Edwards and told him quite plainly that it was much harder for me to refuse his offer of £6,300 than to accept it; but God had said I was not to go above £6,150, and after spending two days with Him neither eating nor drinking, He had confirmed His word to me. I had a letter by return, saying that he would drop the price £500! He refused to make a single penny on it. Wasn’t that God?”

When the agreement had been signed, Mr. Howells had ten days in which to pay the deposit. On the day he was due to go to the solicitor with the money, he was £140 short. He was still this sum short when the actual hour arrived, so in faith he set off to the once without it. He hadn’t been there long when Mrs. Howells arrived. She had followed him down with the post, and in it were three checks, which made up the £140 to the penny.

With the same calling of God, setting up now a large Missions House and Ministry Centre, TV studio and College in Whithorn in the heart of Covenanter country identifying with the two Margarets of the area who had paid the ultimate price. Minister Margaret Dransfield who was to join us in this venture kept on about these Margarets of South West Scotland. She gloriously identified with their sacrifice knowing it was the right place for us all to go, yet only this week she has gone to a far better place, her time of her earthly ministry being ‘oer, her time in eternity beginning.

The religious order tied Margarets McLachan and Wilson to stakes at Wigtown awaiting the tide to come in and drown them, three key intercessions had taken place in Wigtown on 2nd. August 2017 very near to Whithorn and our Missions House to be. It was becoming obvious the call.

15 10 17 KNAP POINT BARRY INTERCESSION

The Unholy Trinity of the 3 m's - Masonry, Media and Marxism is so entrenched in the culture of Wales bringing an intensity so great to the Principality that chooses Welsh speakers rather than the best person for a job.

This exclusive system has meant commonly that those who oppose the sub-culture and God calls equally those of all cultures, races, language speakers and nations, will be targeted or have their movements taken over.

In building in Jesus Name therefore a ministry in Barry we in intercession lets the principalities and powers know that we are onto the system, a system that embraces or opposes.

Intercession therefore comes out at a point in Barry that looks out to the Bristol Channel and over to England. Truly Wales can be restored as a land of revival again.

15 10 17 BARRY COUNCIL INTERCESSION

Intercession takes place through Brian Mason outside Council Buildings in Barry and its Cenotaph.

Within government authorities, councils and services exists a culture of marxism, of giving with one hand, yet controlling with another and it is for the freedom of the people this intercession takes place, for the nation to return to God, to once more experience the protection of God.

02 08 17 INTERCESSION

AT THE MARTYRS MEMORIAL WIGTOWN

Standing on Windy Hill Brian Mason through intercession remembers the lives of the Covenanters, so many becoming martyrs at the hands of the proponents of dead religion, proponents who look to destroy true Christianity today, today by legalism, then by hangings and drownings.

This appalling state of affairs must not be allowed to continue and so there is a rising of remnant Covenanters rising up to hold the Protestant faith.

The two Margarets who were forcibly drowned by religionists needs to be understood in the light of the same proponents today looking to destroy through legalism.

02 08 17 BRIAN MASON INTERCESSION

at the MARTYR'S STAKE, WIGTOWN

It was here at a point where in the 1600's the river was in deep tidal channel that the two Margarets, Wilson and MacLaclan were martyred by religionists looking to uphold the pagan priesthood of separate priesthood to laity.

Indeed it was because of the correct stand against those attacking the Royal Priesthood of Believers that the two Margarets were tied to a stake awaiting the tide to come in to engulf them with waters that led to their residency in glory in heaven, any unrepentant religionist involved now suffering the fires of hell.

It is time for today's covenanters to rise up and be prepared to pay the price for religionists have taken over so many Protestant movements. It is now time to claim them back.

02 08 17 THE MARTYRS GRAVE WIGTOWN INTERCESSION

Brian Mason Intercessor at a key spot upholding the Scottish Reformation and the Royal Priesthood of Believers. Here lies the earthly remains of the drowned Margaret Wilson and Margaret MacLACHLAN who were slaughtered by religionists upholding the doctrine of separate priesthood to laity, a doctrine that still destroys so many lives today.

It is time for the covenanters of today to rise up and take on the Prophets of Baal in the Established "churches" who control, manipulate and destroy the lives of so many.

A big call and huge financial battles we can relate to; we living in an era where the inner witness is rare in Britain, but still the call must go on as in Rees Howell’s day:  But the real battle came over the full sum to be paid. He had never dealt in large amounts before, and the burden was great upon him. He was to take no meetings, nor make any appeals. His eyes were to be on God alone. He gave himself to prayer, spending his days in his little upstairs bedroom in his mother’s home, alone with God and His Word from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., when he took his first meal. In the evenings he continued in prayer with his newly-found prayer-partner, Mr. Tommy Howells. Ten months were spent in this way until the victory was complete.

It was during this time that God established for him the principles of faith in finance which were to govern all his future large-scale dealings in the purchase of properties, and their upkeep. At that time, George Muller was the only man he knew of who had done the same thing before — with no council, no denomination, not making his needs known, and shut in with God alone. Mr. Howells found him a very great help in proving that the promises of God were reliable to step out on. Indeed he said that the only two books which he found could help him through this critical period were the Bible and Muller’s autobiography, and he was often encouraged by thinking, “It must be true, because Muller did it.” He was determined not to go beyond what Muller did, which was not to buy or build until he had three-quarters of the money.

But in his daily pleadings with the Lord for the promised talent of gold, the Spirit reminded him of something else — the book of Haggai. When the Jews had begun to build the second temple, and the work had stopped through the accusations of their enemies, the Lord through Haggai told them to go on and build, though they were in great poverty; and it was then God said to them: “The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine” (Hag. 2:8). When they began to build on the strength of that promise, in faraway Babylon, God stirred King Darius to look up the records of what Cyrus had promised them, and to send them all they needed (Ezra 6).

We have experienced the same thing; since being threatened by text in 2010 “to be destroyed through official channels” we literally have walked “through the valley of the shadow of death” “Will you give up a pension to bail out the Charity?” I was asked of the Lord, the path being so similar that the accusations of our many enemies being considerable even to the point of being threatened by a Barrister of another faith, that if we said anything in court all of our ministry and selves would be taken away from us. The country has sold out to foreign law, cultural Marxism and utilitarianism that the true Christians are being pulled to one corner into the same box of the Covenanters whose cause we will restore!

After facing Mr. Howells with this passage, the Lord said, “If you believe I am the owner of the silver and gold, as you build, I will give you whatever is needed.” In other words, the Lord was leading His servant differently from Muller. He was not to wait until he had three-quarters of the money, but he was to go straight ahead, and not expect a deliverance from God to-day for a need of to-morrow. The Lord had taught him years before in small things that “the promises of God are equal to current coin,” and that, therefore, he must act on the promises as he would if he actually had the cash. But he never thought he would be called to apply it on this large scale. It meant many severe tests, and he did not hesitate to use normal business methods of advances from the bank when guided to do so. But the proof that God has been with His servant in this way as He was with George Muller in another, is that there are no debts or mortgages to-day on estates whose present value is about £100,000.

We like Rees Howells are going ahead with the projects despite of natural sight. You will look at our financial state at the end of this newsletter and possibly say “crazy”. But we are to be “fools for Christ”, be stupid to this world and confound the wise.

1 Corinthians 3:18 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

But to return to the purchase of Glynderwen. The next sum asked for was £2,000. The Lord sent gifts varying from 5s. to £800 during the next three months, but when he still only had £1,700, the solicitor suddenly called for it to be paid by eleven o’clock the next morning. At first he was baffled a bit, as to why the Lord had allowed this sudden demand to be made. He was walking down Wind Street in Swansea, and as he came under the bridge, the word came to him, “Trust ye in the Lord for ever, for in the Lord Jehovah are everlasting resources.” It was a word from heaven to him, and he believed that by eleven o’clock the next morning he would be passing back under that bridge having the money with him. He had a train to catch, and finding an empty carriage, he got down on his knees and praised the Lord. He could have danced for joy, he said. The next morning he had the £300. The woman who sent it told him afterwards that she had a great burden for him during the very half-hour that he believed. It was so heavy on her, that she had to close her shop and post the money off to him. He was able to pay the £2,000 that day and have £18 to the good!

Glynderwen had been the home of Sir Charles Eden, an uncle of the Right Honorable Anthony Eden. The estate consisted of a mansion and eight acres of land, also the public-house. The property had been laid out in lawns, gardens and a tennis court with a lovely view of Swansea Bay and Mumbles. During the testing days, before the £2,000 was paid, an offer came to buy from Mr. Howells the public-house, and four acres of land attached to it. No new liquor license had been granted in Swansea for many years, so the license alone was worth over £1,000, and acceptance would have supplied the extra money needed at that time. It was the first serious temptation in finance, to take an easy way of deliverance; but there was no possibility of compromise on principle. The offer was turned down, the public-house closed, and the value of the license forfeited. Also the licensee was compensated for clearing out. Fair is fair to all — saints and publicans alike! Then by the addition of eight rooms, the public-house itself was converted into a men’s hostel.

The whole property was placed in the hands of three trustees, who stood together in this venture of faith; they were the late Rev. W. W Lewis, a well-known and respected minister in Swansea; Mr. Henry Griffiths, who was then the confidential clerk of the Great Mountain Colliery Company, and is now a Group Accountant of the National Coal Board; and the third was Mr. Howells.

Mr. Edwards, the former owner, became very friendly with Mr. Howells, and in later years gave gifts to the work. He told him, “I couldn’t sell the property to anyone else.” When the completed account was received, with about twenty items on it, including solicitor’s charges, and the sum paid to the licensee of the public-house, the total came to £6,150 7s. 4d. — a talent of gold plus 7s. 4d!

The opening of the College was on Whit-Monday, 1924, and crowds came to hear the story of what God had done during that great period of commercial embarrassment and scarcity of money. About a thousand people gathered. “I remember how God tested me,” said Mr. Howells. “We hadn’t a tent or a building then sufficient to hold a crowd, and the meetings would have to be in the open air. It had been raining nearly all the week before. I had ordered hundreds of chairs from the Corporation. On the Sunday I had the victory that the Whit-Monday would be fine. It was a perfect day. I told the people there would not be a drop of rain till they arrived home that day.” One of the future tutors of the College, a Greek and Hebrew scholar, the Rev. Llynfi Davies, M.A., B.D., testified later how he came down to that meeting a modernist, and went back a believer. Failing to find any committee or religious body behind it, the Press called it “God’s College” — a happy title!

The price had been enormous for Rees Howells and we need those prepared to join us in the climb of faith, to reach the parts of the heavenly places that truly we can say that this restoration is of the Lord.

To Whithorn we go maintaining the South Wales Missions House Base, maintaining the new H/Q at Whithorn and building a further missions house in Sri Lanka.

Whithorn, Scotland’s cradle of Christianity through the Celtic Saint Ninian and a seat of the National League and Covenant. The next stage of our missions plan is well on the way!

ST NINIAN'S CHAPEL WHITHORN INTERCESSION

Brian Mason Intercessor standing near the point where Ninian and his apostolic team came ashore so as to bring the Gospel to the Picts of Scotland.

Ninian became known as the Apostle to the Southern Picts bringing the conditions for the Christianisation of Scotland, it being this call to the Saints of God today - to take back our land.

02 08 17 WHITHORN PRIORY INTERCESSION

A seat of establishment "Christianity" exposed through the intercession through Brian Mason.

The Priory was founded in the 12th. century by Fergus, Lord of Galloway during the reign of King David I of Scotland.

Thankfully the Priory was dissolved under the Scottish reformation, the last Catholic Prior being committed to prison in 1563 for the crime of saying the mass, indeed a great crime as this blasphemes the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ Jesus.

THIS FINANCIAL YEAR’S EXISTING COSTS till end of April 2018

Like Rees Howells we step out into the impossible, we know of your intercession and prayer, we stand together, the road may be hard and tough, but we put our trust in a mightier one than that of the world’s blockages.

We bring out into the open the situation – it is now for God to work.
